••••••••• develops cloud-based SaaS for the hospitality industry. The Team Leader will join the SmartPMS Engineering team, combining technical leadership with hands-on development.
Responsibilities:
- Lead engineers while contributing production code and technical delivery.
- Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical decision-making.
- Support engineers with complex technical challenges and architectural decisions.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, QA, DevOps, and other stakeholders.
- Manage projects with multiple stakeholders and changing priorities.
- Improve software quality, scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
- Support hiring, onboarding, mentoring, and professional growth.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of professional software engineering experience in product-driven or SaaS environments.
- 3–5+ years in a Team Lead, Tech Lead, Engineering Lead, or similar role.
- Strong PHP and Laravel experience; hands-on development experience.
- Experience with cloud-based products and distributed systems.
- Experience with frontend frameworks such as Vue.js, React, or Angular; Node.js is a significant plus.
- Exposure to .NET, C#, Java, or Spring is appreciated.
- Experience working with DevOps teams and CI/CD practices.
- Strong code review, communication, mentoring, and problem-solving skills.
- Practical experience using AI tools for development tasks, with the ability to validate and test AI-generated code.
