Develop backend services for •••••’s high-load sportsbook risk-management product. The system uses microservice architecture and focuses on continuous development, performance optimization, and high-throughput processing.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain high-load backend services using Python and asyncio.
- Design, support, and optimize microservice architecture components.
- Participate in architectural discussions and technical decision-making.
- Implement integrations with Kafka, RabbitMQ, and internal RPC services.
- Improve scalability, reliability, and performance of existing services.
- Write functional and integration tests; collaborate with developers, QA, analysts, and product teams.
- Contribute to code reviews and knowledge sharing.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of professional Python experience and strong asynchronous programming experience.
- Experience with microservices, REST APIs, RPC, stream processing, and designing internal libraries or shared components.
- Strong knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and SOLID, DRY, KISS, and YAGNI principles.
- Experience with Pydantic v2, Kafka, RabbitMQ, and MongoDB.
Nice to have: Experience in fintech, betting, or trading; Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Docker, Kubernetes, GraphQL (Ariadne), ClickHouse, and CI/CD.
