Are we looking for you?
Are you ready to build high-quality software in a modern microservices architecture? You will develop and maintain key services using Java and Spring Boot. Your work will directly impact system scalability, delivering real value to our stakeholders and end-users. Join our team to solve complex technical problems and actively drive our technological growth.

What you’ll work on

  • Java 21/25 microservices designed according to Domain-Driven Design, built with Spring Boot 4.x and communicating mainly via RabbitMQ and REST APIs.

  • Data stored in MySQL and PostgreSQL, with part of it sourced from Snowflake.

  • Caching, mainly with Redis.

  • Our Kafka platform: maintaining our Kafka cluster running on the Strimzi operator.

  • Stream processing with Kafka Streams and, more recently, Apache Flink.

  • Maintaining our RabbitMQ setup.

  • Services deployed on AWS ECS and Kubernetes.

  • Test-driven development with TDD and BDD (Cucumber), covering unit and integration tests run in Jenkins.

  • CI/CD pipelines in GitLab.

  • Observability with Prometheus, Grafana and Kibana.

Your role in the team

  • Building and maintaining microservices in line with business requirements and our internal standards.

  • Keeping services up to date, including Java and Spring Boot upgrades.

  • Contributing to architecture decisions for scalable, modular solutions.

  • Helping develop and operate our messaging and streaming infrastructure.

Experience
Must have:

  • At least 5 years of commercial experience with Java and Spring Boot.

  • Experience with microservices and distributed systems.

  • Hands-on experience with at least one message broker (RabbitMQ or Kafka).

  • Good knowledge of relational databases (MySQL or PostgreSQL).

  • Experience with Docker.

  • Clear communication with both technical and business stakeholders, and a collaborative approach (knowledge sharing, pair programming).

Nice to have

  • Kafka Streams or Apache Flink.

  • Kafka Connect, Strimzi or other Kafka operators.

  • Kubernetes.

  • GitLab CI/CD.

  • Snowflake.

  • Redis or other caching solutions.

  • Prometheus, Grafana, Kibana / ELK.

  • OAuth2 security.

What’s in it for you:

  • Private LuxMed healthcare, free preventive check-ups, spine-relieving massages.

  • Budget for remote workstation equipment and gift vouchers.

  • On-site buffet breakfasts prepared fresh daily.

  • Team-building and family trips to a private lakeside resort.

  • Subsidy for a Multisport card.
