Overview

We are seeking a Python Engineer to build and support a sales planning platform for global teams. You’ll enhance Python and SQL workflows, automate background jobs with Celery, deploy updates in Amazon Web Services (AWS) and troubleshoot production issues. If you enjoy owning change requests, integrations and operational reliability, this remote role in Viet Nam is for you.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver change requests and improve existing use cases using Python and SQL
  • Provide operational support including onboarding new countries, generating reports and monitoring scheduled jobs
  • Troubleshoot application issues, identify root causes and implement fixes
  • Coordinate deployment activities and release readiness with the delivery team
  • Perform data migration tasks and validate outcomes with stakeholders
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to manage upstream and downstream integrations
  • Document runbooks and support processes to improve reliability and repeatability

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Python including FastAPI for API development
  • Knowledge of concurrency concepts such as multithreading plus safe background processing
  • Basic Front-end exposure and understanding of UI and user experience (UX) concepts
  • Hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and SQL databases such as Amazon Relational Database Service (RDS) for PostgreSQL or MySQL
  • Proficiency with Celery for asynchronous tasks and scheduling
  • Familiarity with GitHub and continuous integration workflows using GitHub Actions
  • English proficiency at B2 level or above
